Below is a selection of coperations, nonprofit organisations and public sector entities who have joined the Global Partnerships Forum.
The Global Partnerships Forum works with the British Council to develop new alliances, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa, to promote international education and cultural opportunities globally.
CECP launched the Global Corporate Giving Initiative in 2010 with assistance from Deloitte to create an internationally-relevant measurement framework. After extensive tax, finance, and legal research on charitable giving, practitioner feedback is needed by March 27, 2012 to improve and sharpen the concepts and language of the proposed guidance.
The Global Partnerships Forum is honored to have Ms. Geena Davis, Founder, Geena Davis Institute, serve as a GPF Global Ambassador.
The Global Partnerships Forum works closely with Ms. Geena Davis and Ms. Madeline di Nonno, Executive Director of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media in a number of areas to promote gender equity, including changing the perception of women in media and to reduce gender stereotyping in entertainment. In September 2011, the Global Partnerships Forum was honored to partner with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media to host the ‘First Global Symposium on Gender in Media’ in New York.
Since 2010, the Global Partnerships Forum compliments the work of the Pearl Initiative, a new programme aimed at creating a regional network of business leaders and policy makers within the Arabian Gulf Region in order to improve corporate governance and achieve better public reporting and accounting of their activities, leading to a more open and transparent business environment.
The Global Partnerships Forum is honored to have Ms. June Sarpong, Founder, Row6.com, serve as a GPF Global Ambassador.
Row6.com and the Global Partnerships Forum worked together on several United Nations events and are also collaborating to organize GPF London, a high-level, one-day event at the House of Commons in summer 2012.
